James Dixon (American football)
James Anthony Dixon (born February 2, 1967) is a former American football wide receiver in the National Football League for the Dallas Cowboys. He played college football at the University of Houston.
==Early years==
After attending Vernon High School he moved on to Cisco Junior College. In 1988, the University of Houston was using the run and shoot offense with Andre Ware at quarterback. Dixon and Jason Phillips became the first teammates in school history to register 1,000-receiving yards seasons in the same year.
